This testimonial could be the length of a small novel, I’ll try and keep to the main points!

The problem being a small business is that no one teaches you how to do it even though a lot of decisions you make have legal ramifications.

Towards the end of covid we had lost a lot of regular work and it had been made clear that those clients were not coming back on board, as a result I had to unfortunately let a lad go.

He lived nearly 1 and a half hours away with a company vehicle at his home. To be courteous, I drove to him to give him the not very nice news and bring the van back so that he wasn’t inconvenienced.

He immediately set up as being self employed and tried to take some of my existing clients without success so then decided to pursue a legal claim for unfair dismissal through a no win no fee solicitor.

This could of cost me upwards of £20000 if it was not for your superior knowledge and guidance through the lengthy stressful process.

We made it clear that we were not going to lay down and accept it and fought until the 11th hour when you played our trump card, and they dropped the case. The case, that had caused so much heartache for nearly 12 months.

Without you by my side and the huge effort you put in, this could quite easily of closed my business.
