Mid-morning drive (Thursday 20th June) to Castle Douglas was a white-knuckle ride that was upsetting for passengers, irresponsible for other road users and a textbook case of how not to drive a bus on the public highway. There is a 20mph limit on the A713 due to recent resurfacing which was totally ignored. Speeds well in excess of 50mph on winding country roads inappropriate and dangerous. Passengers disrespected by being thrown around due to dangerous manoeuvring. Totally appalled. This has to stop. A serious accident waiting to happen.

this is a complaint from yesterday on the 520 at half 5 going to casphairn. driver came early almostwd refused to let an old women on bus was dirty driver was speeding. at the old women's stop he refused to help her as she broke her neck and asked nicely to drop her off just up the street. so she had to get off at the scaffolding with all her stuff and her dog. then when I helped her the driver almost made me pay because I got off to help her with her stuff. very rude driver.

The worst receptionist, definitely a young woman. Not once have I had a positive or even decent phone call with this person. Very cheeky to be in customer service, in every job i've been in you'd be fired for speaking like that to anyone not just customers. My issue is that the 520 bus service almost every single time i've been on it, it fails, in one way or another. Doors don't shut, or it's late, or it's broken down and doesn't turn up and leaves you stranded or in my case today is 15 minutes late and you see it coming and then it doesn't come to your stop but turns at the clock instead of looping around at the bottom. Bad service

Absolutely shocking service, took the bus to Castle Douglas on Sat 25th June I asked the driver what time he was picking up from Tesco for the last bus home. I was told to be there no later than 5.15 so I stood from 5pm until 6pm with a mountain of shopping mostly chilled in 18* heat. Paid for a return and ended up stranded 17 miles away from home, I had to pay for someone to travel a 44 mile trip because the bus never turned up at all. Obviously you can't contact the office on a weekend, I was not the only passenger stranded

Driver was very rude and refused £10 said they only take £5. Bus was dirty and had leaks from every window. Bus was late as well. I’m extremely disappointed in what bus standards have came to. It seems as if they only care about the money now.

Hired McCalls Coaches for our wedding. We were informed by our guests that the driver was rude to them. The bus also stopped away from the venue, leaving guests to walk up the hill in wind and rain & pitch black to Mabie House. This resulted in one of our guests slipping and injuring themselves.

Return was similar, leaving guests to walk back down the hill in pitch black at midnight.

We weren't made aware that this would be the situation when we booked, and even the staff at Mabie were surprised the bus didn't approach the building.

Replies to my complaint seem dismissive, and have put me off using the company again.

Only get an extra star since they were on time.

Very friendly bus and coach service serving the Lockerbie and annan community. The bus has always been on time and the drivers have always been friendly. The busses are clean and well kept and have never had any problems whatsoever with this company. Keep up the good work
