I have been working with the Directors of MDM Wealth for some 5 years now.

Initially they helped to consolidate a number of Pension Funds I had, in various schemes, into one investment vehicle. What I liked about this process was that where it was better to leave a Pension Scheme in place with the current company they advised I did that, everything was very transparent and decisions based on fact.

They have also educated me in the ways that pensions, lump sums and drawn down all work. I am now far more equipped to build my own forecast tools so I can personally keep track of my position and therefore the responsibility of where I am at rests with me, as it should.

I was thinking of retiring but was not sure if it was viable. Over a lifetime of working I had accumulated a number of final salary & personal pensions. MDM listened to our goals and aspirations and completed a review of my pensions. Having completed this assessment they recommended that I was in a position to retire if I wanted to. They handled the consolidation of my pensions making it simple and and easily understandable. I retired in October 2020 and MDM have maintained regular contact to ensure that the plans remain up to date.
