I have been insured with NFU Shrewsbury since 2017: vehicle and more. They have always been very helpful (even when I didn't deserve it), fast, communicative ... and good value compared to the rest of the market! I'd recommend them to anyone (one does not need to work in agri to be eligible for insurance)

Insured with NFUM through the Shrewsbury office for a few years now. Business, life, house, livestock, machinery, vehicles etc. all on multiple policies. The team keep me straight on what I need to do and when, have regular catch up calls to check everything is correctly insured. Absolutely spot on.

They are being taken to court in a huge class action. Absolutely would not recommend. The culture is appalling. There are grave issues about apparently deliberately misleading customers and weaponizing customer vulnerability. At least 70 years of family membership ended in a shower of incompetence, made worse by vindictive and cruel bullying of a disabled member of my family about a their disability.

We suggest you look for another branch. The staff have proved to be very inefficient and do not return calls or get back to the customer etc., poor reflection on the NFU brand. Total waste of time and effort trying to deal with a business that actually doesn't want the business time and time again.
