Having moved to Burnham on Sea from the East Midlands it made sense to find a local company for financial advice. Positive Wealth Creation was the one with which we made contact and Alex Turco agreed to 'have a look' at our existing 'portfolios' (a rather grand title for not a vast fortune or complex policies).
It took little time for him to recognise that the company we had been using previously had not been doing the best for us. They were the front end of a hierarchy of companies, each of which was taking their percentage and reducing our return - explained at the time as 'just what the market is at the moment'.
Since then Alex has looked after things for us and we are entirely happy with service provided. He keeps us up to date with things and explains why is recommending a particular action or inaction.
As well as managing the investments on a day to day basis he has been very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of things like Trusts and Inheritance Tax, as well as the importance of obtaining Power of Attorney in addition to the more obvious essential of writing and updating Wills.
