Absolutely shocking firm! I would not recommend using them at all.

Unfortunately the sellers I was buying from were using RAW Clark as the estate agent recommended them.

Due to this, what should have been an easy sale (no chain / first time buyer) actually took 7 months to complete.

During this 7 months the response time back for anything from RAW Clark was easy 20-25 business days. It’s actually laughable how bad this firm truly is.

Avoid these solicitors! Utter useless.

Acting for my brother and myself on sale of late mothers home. Service is nothing short of a disgrace,ignore calls and don't seem to know what to do leaving my brother doing all the running around, if you want a quick sale avoid at all costs as we accepted an offer in weeks we are now nearing 8 months to complete! Will be getting reported for their unprofessional behavior to the ombudsman.. DO NOT USE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Avoid at all costs. I have, up until recently, been dealing with this firm and have failed to sell my property through them twice over a 15 month period. The last round fell through just after Christmas which was immensely disappointing to me and my young family. Communication is the biggest issue with no updates provided and calls and emails not being returned. I am yet to be contacted by my solicitor about my current situation more than 3 weeks after my buyer pulled out despite messages and emails being left. Absolutely terrible experience.

Avoid at all costs!

i wish i looked at the google reviews before i chose to go with them, they don't return your calls when they say they will, they don't reply to your email for weeks on end and you are constantly having to chase them for updates
it had taken 6 months for the sale of my house to go through and then my buyer cancels on the sale at the last hurdle for something which should have been wrapped up in 2-3 months when there was no chain involved and a first time buyer!

Do yourself a Favour and chose a different firm

I wouldn’t even give this firm 1 star. From start to finish the, so called service from RAW Clark has been nothing shy of unprofessional.

How estate agents can sleep at night knowing they recommend this firm is beyond me.

The lack of communication was appalling, I made efforts myself to acquire information and make phone calls to hurry along this process as this company obviously take on way more than they can handle.
I can’t count how many different solicitors and advisors I have been talking between, as one always seemed to be “on a call” “at lunch” “doesn’t work Mondays” “sick today” etc etc. I never once got a call back after calling 50+ times asking for an update. This whole process to sell my house took over 6 months. It was straight forward as we had no chains either end.
The main thing that annoyed me was being told for over a month, “we’re waiting for the deed of variation to come back” - to then, 2 days before completion being told we don’t need it. When this then caused us to be out of pocket as we had to acquire an extension.
Then this shambles of a company, have the nerve to charge over £1,600 in fees. I think I need paid that for the amount of work I did on their behalf.

May I also add that the first time I emailed their CEO, I had no response, it took a few emails for him to acknowledge my frustration, and not once did I get an apology. Not even a, “I’m sorry it’s taking so long” or “I’m sorry our communication hasn’t quite been up to the basic standard a paying customer should receive”
That shows how embarrassing this company is that their CEO doesn’t even take any kind of accountability for their own company.

Please do your due diligence when appointing legal services. Because had I, this whole experience could have been avoided.

***Danger** Do not use!! This company is terrible.. Service does not excist, they hide from your phone calls, make excuses for not communicating, they have provided me with an incompetent service, their knowledge is seriously lacking, be prepared to chase them down All the time , running around duplicating paper work I have already provided to them. They also give you misinformation, prolonging your sale. Be prepared for the worst service ever,

Disappointing and dreadful experience. Save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs. After a long drawn out extremely stressful process the owner mr tulip threatened to take me to court because I left an honest negative review. I obviously deleted it. I didn’t forget the bullying behaviour. Massively incompetent and overall awful experience.

A Disappointing Experience with Raw Clark Solicitors
I'm writing this review to share my unfortunate experience with Raw Clark Solicitors. I was referred to them by my estate agent and was initially optimistic about the process of purchasing a new home. However, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

The most significant issue has been the complete lack of communication. Despite being four months into the process, there has been no progress towards exchanging contracts. I have tried to reach out multiple times through phone calls, messages, and emails, but have received no response. This lack of communication has been incredibly stressful and has caused significant delays in my plans.

Additionally, some of the questions that have been raised could have been addressed in the first month of the process. This further delays the progression and adds to the overall frustration.

Due to the incompetence of Raw Clark Solicitors, I have now lost the house I was hoping to move into. This is a devastating setback, especially considering the emotional and financial investment I had already made. I strongly advise anyone considering using Raw Clark Solicitors to reconsider and seek the services of a local firm instead.

My experience has been a stark reminder of the importance of thorough research and due diligence when choosing legal representation. I hope that my review will help others avoid similar frustrations and disappointments in the future.
