RED conducted a structural survey on part of a property I was buying.

I was extremely happy with the service RED provided. In particular:
• The work was done very quickly, with me providing no advanced notice. I called RED on Friday afternoon, the property was inspected on Monday morning and I received the final report on Tuesday morning.
• Robert from RED communicated well. He proactively shared his knowledge, often providing information over and above what I would have expected, along with helpful suggestions and advice based on his past experiences.
• Robert was also approachable and open to answering my questions. He specifically took the time to explain concepts in simple language and provided evidential documentation where available.

I would gladly use RED again for similar work.

Contacted Robert via a Google search as needed to apply for a building warrant for removal of a load bearing wall prior to a kitchen renovation.
Communication was great and he attended at agreed times.
He was extremely thorough and submitted the plans quickly. I didn't have to do anything as he liaised with the council and had the plans approved. He kept me fully updated as things progressed.
The builder I intend to use commented on how thorough and detailed the plans drawn up where.

We contacted RED to help us design and submit plans for building warrant for a Glasgow tenement flat conversion. Robert advised early on that he could do all this and gave us a detailed map/flowchart of the process he follows and what we should expect. This was very helpful and informative as we had never undertaken this process before. He arranged to meet with us soon after, undertook a detailed survey of the property, and completed all the necessary (and detailed) designs/drawings and submission within a few short weeks. Only one minor tweak to the plans was required by the council, which was done almost instantly by Robert. Our Warrant was received shortly after.
He prefers a WhatsApp group for communications during the process and this worked well for us.
Robert has always been very prompt in responding to queries and we were very happy with the outcome.
There are lower cost contractors around for such work, but we wanted someone who could do both survey, design and submission work for us, and Robert has been able to do all that.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for similar projects.

Robert was recommended to me by the builder I used for the project on my house I purchased last year. The work involved the removal of 2 load bearing walls downstairs (one of which was the chimney breast) to make the full downstairs open plan, and a redesign of the bathroom upstairs to make it bigger and a more functional space.

The services Robert provided were superb. He was very professional, and it was easy to tell he had a vast knowledge of the work involved. I had an idea of what I wanted to do with the house, Robert was able to take this and develop a better plan and made recommenations, for the bathroom in particular, I hadn’t previously thought of. The drawings he produced were spot on and after the initial wait for acceptance by the council were approved very quickly with minimal alterations required.

He has always been available for any questions I have had and since the plans were approved has kept in touch and visited the house to ensure the work carried out met the standards in his drawings.

Couldn’t recommend Robert enough to anyone with a similar project.
