It has been an incredible experience having Robert design and build our new garden. We had a very boring green square and gave Robert a few ideas of our likes and dislikes and then gave him a free reign to create a design. With his superb knowledge and expertise he has given us something truly special! Something that we would never have been able to achieve without him! We wanted something Mediterranean with no lawn and butterfly and bee friendly. I have attached some photos of the before and the after. We honestly can’t thank you enough Robert! Having bought a wonderful house with a wonderful outlook but unfortunately with a very uninspired garden, we were at a loss as to what to do and some what overwhelmed not knowing how to even start on such a big project. Having found Robert online , he was quick to comeback to us and visit us to discuss the art of the possible. We had such a limited budget but wanted something spectacular. We were not afraid of hard work, and knew how we wanted to use the garden and the features we wanted but just not a clue how to even begin. Robert was able to bring all our ideas to life and designed us an exciting garden which had all the wow but designed so that we could build it ourselves. We could never have come up with such an amazing design. We have now completed the project and we are over the moon with our fabulous garden.

After having a kitchen extension built on to our Grade 2 listed cottage we found that a large part of the garden would require sensitive and major repairs.

We contacted Robert who drew up a comprehensive plan and, along with his team constructed various areas which included new drainage and irrigation , a large native hedge, borders, bushes and shrubs.

A wild life meadow was laid down and various insect friendly plants were introduced, and already we have a bee and butterfly haven. A pergola was built which has added an extra dimension, and will cleverly conceal the car parking area with future climbing plants

We are sure in future our new garden will provide us with a great deal of pleasure and as such we can highly recommend Robert.

We contacted Robert because we were at a loss to know what to do with our front garden of tarmac and grass. We were going to have a go ourselves with the help of a landscaper but now we are very glad that we decided to ask Robert to do a professional job. His inspired design met our brief perfectly, incorporating the practical aspects that we needed and respecting the farmhouse setting in a way that, even as keen gardeners, we could not have done. The garden is beautifully laid out and makes such imaginative use of the space that we find ourselves just gazing at it in amazement! Although only just planted it looks fabulous already. Robert and his team did a great job from start to finish. The planning process was quick and the landscaping well managed with excellent attention to the budget. We were kept informed on a day to day basis and we are very pleased with the quality of the work done. All in all we are very happy to heartily recommend Robert – he has built us a garden that will bring us pleasure every single day and is worth every penny.

We needed someone who would not just design a garden for us but also do all the work; Robert and his team did a fantastic job. The design he produced matched the brief perfectly while the planting scheme was so much better than how I would have done it - piecemeal, and trial and error (probably lots of errors). We spend quite a lot of time just staring out at the garden where Robert has provided us with long flowering perennials, beautifully textured grasses and plants that I now love but had never heard of before. It was so much less stressful than having a succession of contractors in to do each of the landscaping jobs separately and Robert kept us up to date on costs so there were no nasty surprises. I have no hesitation in recommending Robert to future clients.
