I went to the offices of this estate agency almost as an afterthought after a day of rental property hunting. Almost immediately they made me feel invigorated with their attitude. The staff - Wendy, Angela, Graham and Madalyn showed professionalism and care. My relocation was handled as swiftly and helpfully as I could hope for. RMS were great from start to finish. The fees were very competitive. Wendy in particular was incredibly helpful in the office whenever there were any issues with solicitors or timescales that needed chasing. Used Rook Matthews Sayer for a re-mortgage as a returning customer. Rook Matthews were quick to contact us approximately 6 months ago to remind us that our existing mortgage was due to expire, a service we had not received previously from a different mortgage service which had resulted in us transferring to a standard interest rate and costing us more. The Track My Case option was handy to track progress.
Alistair Bowman was our advisor a few years ago and recently. He has been so helpful, identifying the best time to search for a mortgage deal, providing regular updates and an alternative contact if he was unavailable and once a provisional deal was agreed, Alistair continued to check the market to ensure we had the most appropriate deal as interest rates continued to change. He has been honest in his advice, confirming that as we are close to paying off our mortgage, this would be the last time we would require a broker as the range of options in future years would be limited. I would have no hesitation in continuing to use Rooks Matthews and especially Alistair and would recommend them to anyone.
