Jo is an incredibly supportive, astute and insightful coach, who is always willing to genuinely listen and offer a perspective I may have missed. Our sessions were well-structured and felt like a natural conversation, with Jo providing detailed follow-up emails to summarise our sessions and suggest viable action points.

Before approaching Jo, I was wrestling with time management issues, business growth pains and the challenge of co-ordinating a fully remote workforce. Through our sessions, I have a much firmer grasp now of my goals (both personal and professional), aspirations and areas of improvement for Regent Branding.

Jo has the gift of intuitively identifying fundamental problems and steering the conversation towards actionable solutions. She didn't ever pertain to have all the answers, but encouraged me to discuss issues until we arrived at a place of clarity and growth. This led me to feel comfortable, empowered and excited at the end of each session.

What I find most refreshing is that Jo shares her own invaluable business experience during our sessions, but doesn't ever use this as a blueprint - she understands how each business is different and creates avenues of conversation that sometimes lead to surprising realisations.

I find Jo to be empathetic and nurturing, with a sharp commercial acumen that has helped me improve myself as a CEO, as well as my relationships with employees, stakeholders and clients.

Jo's approach is one defined by honesty, authenticity and forthcomingness, and our weekly catch ups provided a much needed pulse check on issues that would have otherwise flown under my radar.

My business is now stronger than ever, with an expanded workforce and growing revenues, and I can confidently attribute part of this to Jo and her coaching sessions, which helped me challenge assumptions, commit to a personal growth plan and empower myself. I would wholly recommend her to anyone who is serious about levelling up, both personally and professionally.

Shine Coaching is an apt name for Jo: not only does her sound advice and targeted questions get you thinking about 'you' in a more positive light, but she will have you brimming with positivity from the first moment you talk with her. Easy to talk to, insightful and warm, I had no hesitation in sharing everything I needed to with Jo in what I knew was an extremely safe space. Jo doesn't aim to 'fix' your issues; she gives you the tools to address them yourself and prompts you to view things differently so you realise your issues are not insurmountable. Sometimes, a different perspective is all you need and for that, I would not hesitate to recommend Jo to anyone who is letting their head become crowded with overthinking and worry, regardless of the reason.

I worked with Jo in January 2021. We unfortunately only had the opportunity to work remotely, but the sessions were always productive and interesting. Jo has a good way of taking lessons from discussions and presenting them to you in a way which is welcoming and non-offensive. Receiving honest feedback from anyone can sometimes be a hard thing to take depending on the delivery, but this was not a concern with me and the sessions.
