There's reviews of terrible communication here but was recommended by someone who has worked with them in the past. I called and spoke to Matt and explained I was looking for building control services for a extension starting in August 24. I was advised to send a email in with my approved plans and go from there. Email sent in on 28th of May it's one month later still haven't even had a response. I've now gone elsewhere. All I'm going to say is this country has a huge issue with customer service. I've been let down by tradies not following up with their commitments, architect who suggested a sprinkler system in a rural residential house and now these guys. Might I add I'm sure everyone will want top dollar too! It used to be you get what you pay for but it's now you get what you get.

Very disappointed. Stuck with them all through COVID, was patient with them not turning up on time, many different 'engineers' with different opinions including 'If I were you I'd block all those airbricks up' (I didn't).
Chaotic and unresponsive, dishonest and unhelpful and arrogant. And they ignore complaints.
You pay them money but you're not the customer, they don't want to be accountable to anyone.
Use someone else.

Very professional, worked with us on a large project, working with us as a residential client and builder very well, very quick response time which was appreciated. knowledgeable and special shout out to Julian, a true gentleman. Showed up on time, everytime. Vast years of experience and it really showed. Cannot fault. Would/ have recommend them and will use them again on future projects

Have had many dealings with Shore, always found to be friendly and professional. Always have time and patience whether it be over the phone or out on site visits to answer any queries I may of had. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone !

Whilst their fees have gradually increased over the years I would still recommend Shore for providing Building Control services. With a inspectors based all over the place I can be sure there will be a local inspector who can attend site whenever required. When issues arise they work with the builder/architect/client to ensure a solution that is acceptable to all parties is found.
Very helpful and very knowledgeable.

No communication whatsoever. Been waiting forever for the final certificate. Everytime i call the office, i keep beimg told someone will be in touch but nothing. Oh and surprise surprise, theyve already taken my money for the service they are failing to provide
