I wanted financial advice for growing my savings income, and managing my disparate pension pot. William helped me understand the options available and the most effective saving and investment strategy. Will and I had our first meeting early in 2020. I've found him very professional, clear and concise in our discussion on the options I have with my pension and investments, always responsive and helpful, patient when it took a while for me to grasp some of the topics. I wanted better than my company pension was offering and wanted to know what my options were if I decided to retire early. William helped with all of the above. He helped me consolidate my fractured pension schemes, calculated my retirement income for a range of options and thus far performance has been really strong, including recovery from the pandemic crash. He also offered advice on inheritance planning. He's patient and explains the details really clearly, without being patronising. I've found him very straightforward and professional.

Heading in to my early 50's, I wanted to ensure I was maximising my pension contributions and making the correct investments with a view to helping my sons out with deposits for house purchases within the next 5 to 10 years. Will's understanding of financial matters was instantly clear. He obtained a full overview of my financial position, what my concerns and wishes were and he has brought clarity to my objectives and what I need to do to achieve them. From the outset I was able to utilise previous years pension contributions allowances and have maximised contributions since. Some of my original pensions pots have been left with their current provider, and lesser performing pots have been transferred to St. James' Place, after it has become clear that they have outperformed my previous provider. I am now fully cognisant of my overall financial position and have now taken control of my financial future, which is very reassuring.
