I first met Elaine at a networking event in Sheffield. Things were getting pretty busy for us as a business and we were starting to fall behind on some of the admin tasks involved in running electrical company.

I have previously worked with a number of VA over the years so I knew what to expect, however a big selling point for me with Elaine was when she sent over an email containing a a pdf list of all the services she can assist me with this was a really useful tool for helping me decide what jobs I will continue doing and what jobs I would deligate to Elaine team.

We had our initial meeting a couple of weeks before lockdown started. After a couple of weeks of reflection I got back in touch with Elaine and gave her the go-ahead to start our work together as a knew that the valuable time away from my business and having the support of a VA was a golden opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.

We started to build up a working relationship gradually giving Elaine some simple task of organising emails and Google Drive files and various other organising tasks that had fell behind over the past few years. I was very impressed by the efficiency and simplicity that Elaine and Spero brought to our current systems..

As our working relationship grew and we grew trust in Elaine and her team we started to delegate more more general maintenance tasks which eventually lead to Elaine helping us develop and improve our business.

Elaine is now a key member of our power team and attends regular meetings to keep up to speed with development and growth of our company, she has been working on a large project to bring all our telephone scripts in line with our service app and has helped in the development of our subcontractor recruitment process.

Elaine send’s me a weekly report on how much time she spent on each part of our business and is in regular contact to see where she can help me in the future.

Elaine’s background in construction and business development has been a real asset to Smart Electricians and I feel she really is a cut above other VA that I have worked with in previous years.
