Exam cycle PYP has completely changed the way I communicate with patients and carry out my exams. I now do the treatment I want to do and have built better value into my checkups which means happier patients!

I’ve done nearly every course run by Asif (everything except FFQ). What I love about his courses are that they are designed to deal with the struggles dentists encounter on a day to day basis in a structured way that is very easily implemented.

I particularly love PYP (the associate course). I’m not exaggerating when I say that this course was career changing for me. It gave me a structure to use for my examinations that was patient focused and easy for the patient to follow and understand. What I didn’t realise is that by doing this, patients valued me more and were choosing to go for higher end treatments which they previously wouldn’t have even considered! Prior to doing this course I had invested in clinical courses but I was unable to implement the skills as I could not get the cases. This all changed after PYP and I am now confident that any course I do will not be in vain as I have the structure to talk about these treatments to patients in examinations.

The revenue course was also fantastic. Again Asif has created a structured framework to show you how to increase your earnings without changing your dentistry. I know this sounds impossible but it works!

If you are a Principal dentist, there are courses for you too. Again, I’ve learnt so many frameworks, techniques and systems that have made running my practices so much easier. I really don’t think that there are other courses out there that cater to the needs of practice owners like this.

If you are not sure about doing any of these courses, my advice is just do them- you won’t regret it!

I first found out about PYP during the taster day in November. Asif was pretty straight to the point which was refreshing. He breaks down the exam (which most dentists take for granted) in systematic blocks which all make perfect sense and allow you to be in control of the exam, rather than the patient.

Having done other communications courses I found this one particularly effective as Asif is a previous dentist, so is much more relatable. The trainers have all been through the course and are currently practicing so their advice was great, particularly Vimal we was over seeing my group. Highly recommended for any associate at any stage of their career.

Before you go on any course to learn new techniques this is essential. Asif breaks down the fundamentals of so many aspects of dentistry that most of us have no concept of until taught. As a principal it changed my entire practice and team. We built a culture , improved patient care and ultimately for me this meant increased revenue and a happy team. Now I recommend every team member participate in the course and make the investment as there is no better investment than the one you make in yourself.
