Called & asked re prices, was advised it was ‘based on the circumstances’ & I’d be ‘put through to someone who could help’. Fast forward the 10 minute conversation & I was then advised there would be a bill of £300+VAT. Shocked, I said that the price wasn’t mentioned when I had enquired & I was then told ‘nobody was obliged’ to tell me the prices upfront. & the CMA are investigating vets for their ‘transparency’!?

Compared to my last experience with a Solicitor (W&AS Bruce), Stevenson & Marshall are amazing.

I'm having a will drawn up, and June Paterson couldn't be more helpful, friendly or approachable.

I'd recommend this firm to anyone - obviously you're paying for a service, but you actually feel valued here.

I highly recommend Stevenson and Marshall. I've recently bought and sold properties which can be a very stressful time for many. I found their estate agency team to be very professional, informed and friendly. After every viewing, I was contacted regularly with an update, even if there was no feedback for the viewer.

Once my purchase and sale was passed to the conveyancing team I also found their staff to very good and felt confident that a good job was being done and I was important to them. This is something I've found with dealing with other firms that this is quite often not the case.

I've used 4 difference solicitor firms over the past 13 years and can't recommend them enough. I don't plan to buy and sale for a while again but will be using them in the future for legal work.

Don't be put off with the lack of a traditional estate agent window showing boards of properties for sale. That is not important anymore. There were other properties of a similar spec for sale in my street when my house was for sale and it sold quicker than the others. I also got the price I wanted.

Beware, inicial telephone conversation is billable, you will not be informed about this. Took all my details and told me they need to see, if my case can by sorted in their practice, I was waiting for the confirmation insted I recived the bill for £386!
Please, beware before you call them.
