I’ve been an AR with Stonebridge for several years now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the support and setup they provide. The compliance requirements are clear and easy to follow, and as long as you stick to their guidelines, they really let you get on with running your business. It’s a very hands-off approach in the best possible way.

One of the biggest mistakes of my professional career was joining Stonebridge. The senior management only have their interests at heart, not yours. They don’t support their AR firms when needed which had a catastrophic impact on my business. A lender panel removal was not investigated or appealed despite no evidence being provided. To compound matters Stonebridge then terminated my AR agreement on the back of the lenders unsubstantiated hearsay.

There are over 30 mortgage networks, as well as the option to be directly authorised.

I strongly recommend you carry out your own due diligence and I will for the remainder of my career advise colleagues and industry professionals to avoid Stonebridge at all costs.

This firm really does nothing apart from give you access to mortgage lenders. They provide minimal support and their CRM /sourcing system is falling behind the times. There are much better options available elsewhere. When you hand in your notice to leave, they will try to make your life difficult by holding commission for long periods of time. I hope I never have to deal with Stonebridge ever again

**UPDATE** Stonebridge have now told me that they will only pay my commission straight away if I remove this review. Think very carefully if you plan to join this network.
