Recently moved into area (well, not so recent now - just over 3yrs!) & the Con-Club was recommended to us by our lovely neighbours. We went a few times (as a guest, it's members only) & was so impressed we joined up (not expensive). They have lovely friendly staff & the traditional pub food is excellent quality & very reasonably priced too! Make sure you sign up to their email list as they regularly have events & live bands/music, but they can get very popular so tickets are limited. The decor is modern & stylish (having been fully refurbished not long ago) & they have large function room (which can be hired). There is also a nice garden area, with safe play section for the kids. There is a small carpark here too. Highly recommended as an alternative to your regular pubs (of which there are many in this area)

UPDATE: (Aug 2023)
Everything still good in the friendly local pub venue. Food Menu has been updated & is better than ever (& still giving discounted meals on Tuesdays). Just note that now you should remember to bring your plastic membership card with you as the front doors are now normally locked & you can release the doors by touching your membership card on the black wall box (just to left of the doors).

UPDATE: (Nov 2024)
Glad to report everything's still great here at the Con Club! Took a few of our close friends over for a spot of mid-week early dinner & happy to report that the food is even better now (& thanks to the new chef who came out to say hello!)... The same fresh & tasty traditional pub fare & the staff really are great here too! Lovely family friendly atmosphere in a very clean & modern environment. Huge TV's are dotted around along with pool table & snooker tables (in the back room). We need to come here more often if we can. As usual they put on regular live entertainment shows, which are always popular (so best you book in advanced if you can!) I'd like to give them 11 out of 10 if I could!

I held My late husbands get together (after funeral) in the club great staff very helpful buffet excellent kept refilling tea coffee and the food. The food good and a lot of different dishes and the cakes especially the chocolate cake brilliant would recommend them for any occasion
