Good at sorting for you but take a good chunk of your rebate, I’m due £115 and I am apparently only going to receive £55 after their fees over half never again

Absolutely shocking. I used them before for my tax rebate and was good. This experience has been nowhere near as good, I applied in April, now September with NOTHING, I keep getting told I will get updates but I do not get any updates. I keep getting told they’re waiting on HMRC and will not let me cancel the application. DO NOT USE

I was unfortunate enough to receive a tax refund from the government through TaxRebates. Few weeks ago I got a letter from HMRC saying I’ve overpaid tax for the past few years, not much but about £30 per year, total was just over £100. Thought brilliant, went on the website to claim it and said a check has been sent out. Fast forward to today, received the cheque, and my £100 and quickly dwindled down to £30! £50 went to TaxRebates fee, why? What did this company do that’s worth £50 when the government already calculated my overpaid tax, sent the letters and now these scumbags taken their ‘fee’ for my cheque to come, mind blowing. For what, to send a single piece of paper with a cheque attached to it isn’t worth £50 plus the time taken to process is probably automated in the company is not worth £50. Ohh best part, had to pay tax as well on my tax refund!! Made me chuckle that did, no wonder the government gets these scammers involved, free money for both of them.
If the payout was higher then I’d understand like if they’d take out a percentage but it’s not in proportion to what you’re getting refunded. What if my tax refund was £65? I’d probably just get a fiver. Honestly, wish I didn’t get the refund, whole thing annoyed me more than anything after I found out what these take off you. Will get in touch with HMRC to not get this ‘company’ involved for tax refunds.

Used this company for my tools tax rebate thinking that it would make my life easy and the reality is that after 20 weeks of waiting all I hear is excuses and waste of time . If I could I would have done the rebate myself and monitor it myself because at this point dont know if this is a trusted company at all .Lucky to get 1 star

This is a Scam you never receive money if you have worked for a company. Tax rebates will claim the money. I claimed Uniform tax and tools they never even asked HMRC for this. Just tax I'd overpaid on and they claim in you wait 5 to 7 weeks for nothing.

Proper scam.. they claimed on behalf of me and never heard anything from them.. HMRC told me that my cheque was sent but I have never received infact these people have got my cheque. They are claiming money for me but they are keeping my money and never received.. I work hard and these people make claim on my tax.. I told them to take me off the data base and Emma said they cannot.. Be careful whoever is dealing with this company..

I gave 5 stars because of them sorting it out for me, but what decreased the star value to 1 was my rebate was £75 and they took of £65 in reductions. £50 admin fees and 10 VAT. So i was left with a £15 cheque, yeah great, thanks alot.

Do not use this company!!!
They will rip you off taking about 75% of your hard earned money. They are just as bad if not worse than loan sharks. I was due a tax refund of over £150, i ended up with about £30!! Money that could have been used to pay bills, not line the pockets of a bunch of scammers and rip off merchants.
