As a tenant on a board I found that some of the board business was a little daunting , my housing trust decided that the BDA would be just the company to put our board through its paces , I was stuck in at the deep end and missed the intermediate first session and was put on the advanced course .Hugh and Yvonne were excellent in there tutoring and I passed .Although my housing trust had five tenant board members already the course gave value to both Tennant and independent members showing the mutual value of having tenants on housing trust boards . I found after the course that I could interact in every detail of board business and a visit from our external auditors report after a board meeting revealed that they couldn't tell the tenants from the independent members . And congratulated the company for having an effect board
