Phoned 8am and was 31st in the queue and that's fine we all expect this nowadays,
Finally got through at 9am.
Caroline the receptionist answered, asked her for an appointment for my wife, went through the usual Name D.O.B etc, she asked me what was wrong with her and did my wife know I was phoning on her behalf.. I promptly told her yes and her symptoms..then this highly trained receptionist told me that's not an emergency, I said ok could I get an appointment for her after 5pm as she was working,
then Caroline told me there are no appointments after 5pm and that 4.45pm was the last appointment..
I said ok my wife will just have to get away early from work, Caroline then said there are no appointments left for today, so I said that's fine anytime this week will do.. Caroline then told me I can't pre-book an appointment, so me or my wife would have to phone back next day at 8am .. Wow I know that doctors work hard and have got a lot of people to see, but I hope these telephone conversations are recorded so the Doctor's can hear their staff .

I have to put this message on and hope this lovely girl gets recognition for it!
I telephoned the surgery yesterday to make an appointment and ask a question about a procedure I had, had. Charmain (not sure if this is correct spelling, sorry if it isnt) was an absolute delight to speak to!! She was so helpful, and answered my query as best she could. Charmain was calm, professional and so lovely to speak to! All surgeries should have a Charmain!!! Thank you so much Charmain!!!

Just moved into the area and signed up with this practice. Over a week to get blood pressure checked. Eight business days to get repeat prescriptions. And three weeks to get a telephone appointment with a doctor. The receptionist was so unhelpful and kept interrupting.
We’ve obviously made the wrong choice here.
Just had a response from this practice, thank you however the reason my husband needed to talk to the doctor was because he is having knee surgery next week and needed to confirm he would be able to get the painkillers he will need without waiting for the normal 8 business days. The receptionist wasnt interested.

Absolutely wonderful GP practice. I have met 3 GPs and they have all been as professional as the next whilst being very kind, really kind and caring. Reception staff have also been helpful and nurse who took blood was also friendly and kind. Really good work everyone

I have never had any difficulty in obtaining an appointment. The reception, Doctor and nurses have been absolutely brilliant. I have rarely had to use the Surgery, this last 7 months has been very different, and the support has been there as I recovered from a serious head injury.

Recently had my first appointment on the Friday just gone after not long joining the practice, I have to admit I was a bit sceptical after seeing the Google reviews when looking for the phone number to ring up, but if I'm honest I got through first time at 8.59am, I joined a queue as 6th in line which is normal for any G.P. and the queue didn't last long at all, now after reading all these reviews I wasn't expecting to get an appointment but after a quick chat with the friendly receptionist on my symptoms, I had an appointment for the same morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Collins who was very helpful and very understanding.
As first impressions go i have no complaints with this practise and would take the 1 star reviews with a pinch of salt maybe.
I've only visited once but first impressions are everything. It's a thumbs up from me.
