I've only known to embed the Curiosity Approach within my working environment since my first job at a Nursery. It's an AMAZING Approach!! The children love being apart of the Curiosity Approach, as it brings out their inner curiostiy, when exploring the environment around them, as well as learning from 1 of the best Teacher, Nature! It also brings a sense of homeliness, not just for the children but for the staff as well.

I love the Curiosity Approach and I believe all educational settings should embed it too!! 😊

We embedded the Curiosity Approach several years ago . We’ve never looked back. It’s amazing to see the children learn in a natural , calm environment . Using real authentic resources, which creates awe and wonder.
The mindful practitioners are there to scaffold and support the children’s learning, at their own pace.
Our families chose the nursery because of this approach , and the home from home feel it surrounds itself with.

The curiosity approach has been amazing for me as a childminder and the children get so much out of the approach. It focuses on the needs of the children and encourages a home from home setting - my setting is relaxed, welcoming and I’ve had amazing feedback from parents. I also got outstanding in my ofsted inspection, the inspector loved it. It has helped me to be able to understand the way children learn and develop and gives me the confidence to know the children in my care are enjoying themselves and flourishing.

The curiosity approach is a fantastic accreditation, providing a reflective toolkit which transforms early years practice. Completing the accreditation completely transformed our nurseries, had positive impacts on children’s well being and improved our teaching. In 20 years in education, I would now only ever recommend this approach.
