This is an absolute gem. The rooms are spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The food is delicious and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Shane the Landlord can't do enough to help. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Best nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel/B&B! Quiet, comfortable, clean, tidy room with everything we needed. We ate at the bar in the evening, really good food, great value for money. Breakfast was really good in the morning! This place represents exceptional value for money in my opinion! Coming from Cornwall, we have family who live in Silverton, so will definitely be back!

Fabulous find!
Very friendly staff, lovely bar area, clean well equipped room with comfy bed, clean bathroom, delicious dinner and breakfast. One of the tastiest steaks with peppercorn sauce that I've ever tasted. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay.|My room was very comfortable, well appointed, and quiet enough. WiFi connection was excellent with plenty of space to work.|The highlight was the freshly cooked food, I had a simple steak and chips, but it was cooked perfectly rare as requested. The service in the bar was faultless and very friendly. Tribute real ale in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I had to leave early and missed the cooked breakfast.|I was travelling on business and reserved my room on Booking.com for £75 a night, for an upgraded ensuite double room.

All round excellent. Food was good, we had a lovely dinner and a great breakfast. |Room was good and very clean. brightly decorated with plenty of storage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location in main street was good with free car park a short walk away. A lovely old village with lots of thatched houses.|Highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights here and ate both nights in the pub restaurant which was great value and good quality food.
Room was bright and clean and well appointed. Staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble.
We would definitely stay here again.
