I had been recommended Steven by a friend when I was starting to look for a mortgage. I honestly had no idea where to start. The whole process was so straight forward and Steven took all the work away from us. He searched so many lenders, weighed up the pros and cons and came back to me with the best deals. Even setting up the mortgage was pain free. He sent an email with the detail he required and once we sent back, that was pretty much that. Really slick service and fantastic communication throughout the whole process. I don't normally review service, usually don't think to, but Steven was excellent, a proper personal service one to one rather than feeling like just another client. I really do feel we received a service that a bank simply could not compete with. Plus I trusted him, he could offer us so many more product options than a bank offering only their products. Best of all, its free, he takes his cut from the lender.

I recently had the requirement to arrange a mortgage and insurance with very little UK credit history due to living overseas for a number of years and decided to reach out to Thomson Associates for assistance.

Steve requests all the info he may need up front and then sets to work gathering all the options available and then presents his recommendations with true unbiased facts. At no time did i feel pressured to make a decision, Steve provides the options and allows you, his customer, to make the decisions whilst being there to answer questions if needed.

Buying a home is stressful enough but when you have someone you trust handling the financials and you know he is getting you the best deal at no cost to you, the whole process becomes far simpler allowing you to concentrate on other areas that need your attention.
