Back in August, I was fortunate to receive mentoring from Becky Loto.

Becky is incredible. I felt so comfortable to talk openly with her. The more you share, the better the support and advice you receive.

It's not easy to admit that you don't have it all together, it's not the best image to put across to peers. But I decided, as I always do, to be 100% open and honest. And I am so glad that I did.

I was struggling with massive overwhelm. I have 2 businesses with my wife. Our videography/photography business, and our serviced accommodation business. Quite frankly, I work way to hard physically in both businesses and I needed to start being smarter. Days were disappearing before my eyes and I wasn't getting stuff done. I was so frustrated as I was reactive rather than proactive. Most days I don't know which way to turn first!

Once you're feel that way, the overwhelm gets out of hand, the stress increases and it's difficult to keep yourself in check.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the sessions, I was secretly hoping that I wouldn't get homework as that would just add to my workload!

Becky is so easy to talk to, I look forward to every call, even when I know that I will talk about stuff that makes me uncomfortable. Becky listens, she understands and then offers suggestions to help.

She also kicked my butt a few times! And I am so grateful for it!

Becky has helped me to breathe. I am so much calmer when issues arise, because I break it down and solve it. Rather than everything piling up, we broke things down into different areas and work on them individually. I feel so much more in control!

When you start and run your own business, you don't know it all. We are constantly learning. Having someone like Becky in your corner is a no brainer to me now. Brainstorming ideas, a fresh pair of eyes, a safe place to off load and somebody to keep you on the right path to reach your goals.
