I ordered tiles from this store, but my experience was disappointing. On my first visit to pick them up, I received a broken box, so I had to wait for a new delivery. Of course the job then had to be postponed. Once the job was done, I had a full unopened box left over and hoped to return it for a refund. However, they refused, pointing to a small refund policy notice taped to the wall. Their only advice was to sell the extra box on Facebook Marketplace—not exactly helpful.

Fantastic and friendly professional service - from helping us pick out the tiles to ordering them in very quickly to fit in with the tiler. Competitive price too! Will definitely use Tiles Direct again in the future.

Really great selection in store - we ordered some lovely vinyl flooring and tiles for our kitchen backsplash and Aaron was kind, helpful and patient with us while we made our decision. Products are really super quality and great value, totally recommend.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend albeit we did not buy tiles. We opted for the laminate flooring which was on sale and purchased 8 boxes for £240. We could not get them laid properly as the boards kept lifting and after having to write off two boxes I purchased two further boxes costing £57. We employed a joiner who found the same issue. We called on Sunday and we’re advised that the employee was on his own and to call in person on Monday. The joiner and I went to the store on Monday and the staff member we initially dealt with said the flooring was as it should be despite the fact it did not lock and lifted at a hands touch he dismissed us stating we weren’t listening. Another staff member attended to us and did listen he stated that if we weren’t happy he would refund me 6 boxes. I opted for this as the floor was never going to be right in our house. I received £145 back and no mention of a 20% wastage fee which of course is on the invoice once I called back to query. I went round the back to leave the wood back to find the first employee that had dismissed us on the forklift apparently he was to help me with the wood. He disappeared into the warehouse and did not come back out despite seeing me I was left to sort the wood myself and left it beside the skip! Very disappointing as I have lost nearly half of the original cost and have no floor plus left feeling frustrated at the poor customer service from one particular staff member. Myself nor the joiner would use again.

Called in to the store a few weeks ago.
Firstly We were not greeted by any staff members when we walked in. Myself an my friend were walking around looking at your products and disguising ideas. once we found the flooring we liked we then had to go find a staff member who was sitting at a desk
his name was Phil.
I asked Phil if he could please give his advice on prices & sizing ect for the flooring I wanted to be told it wasn’t available, so asked if he could recommend a floor similar to the one I’d chosen,
I can tell you now I have never came across a more arrogant, unhelpful, rude sales person in my life. Your staff member Phil just couldn’t be bothered and walked away on a few occasions without offering his help or advice. There was in my option no reason for this as the store was not busy in fact there was no other customers in the store at the time. .
I will never set foot inside Tiles direct again, this man is clearly in the wrong job!! Disgraceful behaviour!

Initially very helpful when they want your business but forget it in the aftersales. After THEY recommend the number of tiles for the bathroom size measurements that were provided Bangor Tiles Direct refuse to refund on 2 boxes of returned tiles. They stated, although they still stock the exact same tiles, they could not refund as my tiles can from a different batch and were in a different box therefore I could not get a refund. Won't be back and recommend you steer clear.

Professional, helpful and informative. Also great range of stock of laminate and wooden flooring. They are also great at not disapointing due dates for delivery unlike some other Bangor wooden store floor I know of! Won't hesitate to use them again.

Having visited 3 other tile outlets in Bangor to purchase tiles for my fireplace hearth I found a lack of interest in trying to resolve my problem and can only assume that the job was too small. That is until I called into Tiles Direct and spoke to Pat. He offered several suggestions making it clear what I needed for the job and was quick to show suitable samples. I purchased a modern tile which is fireproof and am delighted with the finished job. My problem was easily resolved due to Pat's interest as well as his efficiency and helpfulness. Don't waste time going to other tile outlets just visit Tiles Direct and you won't be disappointed.
