Was almost killed at the top of Kings Hill, Bude by a Tilleys coach. I was a pedestrian walking facing the traffic but evidently the coach driver never saw me. It was a case of thrusting myself into the hedge to avoid being killed. This occurred on the 27th of March 2015 at 8 pm. There was no traffic coming the other way.

In my honest opinion most of the roads in Cornwall are death traps because there are no pavements. In some parts of Scotland this problem is solved quite elegantly by putting the footpath/cycle track BEHIND the hedge. Advantage is that there is a physical barrier between humans and motor vehicles.
