Having previously used an architect for the same change of use scheme, it was clear early on that I made the right decision in deciding to switch professionals and use Tyler Parkes. The project was an office to residential conversion on an affluent high street in the Midlands. Seb immediately made some practical suggestions which would benefit both the tenant and the chances of being approved by the council.

He changed existing plans and suggested a front facing design, involving moving the corridor to the back of the building which provided a win-win both visually and acoustically. Seb’s use of space was also creative allowing for 5 fantastic living spaces.

On the application/planning and council liaison side of things, I mainly communicated with John. John is extremely knowledgeable in his area and super-efficient. He never missed a deadline and there was not once a grievance or miscommunication. The pairs skillset compliment each other fantastically well and from my experience I’d be happy to recommend anyone to Tyler Parkes.
