We are an accounting firm using unbiased and we have found this company probably doing unethical practice. We were about to leave them after having a really bad year with them with lots of fee being paid, monthly subscription but suddenly they started bombarding us with leads around the period of our subscription was about to end. We then dropped the idea of leaving and now again we hardly getting any leads. Some of the leads needs a credit of £300 which is crazy given then they charge monthly subscription. I have no doubt having an experience of 2 years with unbiased that this company is not doing enough to get leads but charge monthly fee on top of credit etc. Really shocking how the management is treating the customer.

I've been with unbiased for years, I've noticed recently they have significantly risen their prices and continue to do so, I wouldn't have minded if the lead lead quality was good but its become extremely poor. Their refund policy is limited. Their charging structure has no relevance to the value of the lead to the professional, as a result it makes it difficult to respond to leads because of the high cost and in turn means those on the other side may not get access to suitable advisers, rather just the large firms that have unlimited budgets. I've informed them I wish to cancel my account and they insist on charging me for another 3 months, despite never agreeing to such a policy when I joined. Such a shame, it was a good company.

We are an accounting firm, and most inquiries we received through this platform were either geographically distant, irrelevant, or difficult to follow up on.

The platform does not adequately vet the inquiries posted, resulting in unreliable leads. Only about one in ten leads may potentially convert into a client.

Additionally, many inquiries are poorly drafted, showing little effort from the potential clients. It seems they are looking for a free advice rather than a genuine enquiry requiring professional advice.

Charging a nominal fee for posting an inquiry could filter out non-serious inquiries, ensuring that professionals can confidently invest in viable leads.

The platform does not offer refunds for leads that are unreachable, which is particularly detrimental for small businesses relying on these leads. Also they take forever to deal with refunds of leads which is frustrating for a small business with limited budget.

Their most recent change of monthly subscription which is about £300 a month plus increased cost for each lead was the final nail in the coffin and forced us to stop using this platform.

I strongly advise steering clear of this company unless you are willing to risk losing money while enriching them.

If they improve by vetting their leads and implementing systems to ensure the leads are genuine and viable, their business model could be successful.

Provided high level detail of what advise was required after 48 hours got an email saying no match try again. Given this site is recommend by companies its service is really poor. Took me five minutes to match with numerous IFA,s online.

I initially utilized Unbiased as an accountant rather than a customer. Honestly, it turned out to be a financial disappointment, particularly when they modified their policy to impose charges for unresponsive leads. The fee structure for leads is also flawed, leading to situations where accountants can be charged up to £300 for simply responding to a client's question. Consequently, this discourages advisers from being responsive, potentially driving them away from the platform.

The quality and quantity of IFA leads has gone seriously down hill over the last two years. It used to be a directory of IFAs that clients would use to find an adviser local to them. Obviously that wasn't lucrative enough and now the site monetises each lead by prioritising 'helpfully' selecting advisers for the client i.e. selling the leads off individually. I have just bought a lead for £50+ and within 1 hour the client had confirmed that they didn't actually want advice or contact. Unbiased of course won't refund the cost but will only give a token which given the number of worthwhile leads to buy is utterly valueless. In what other area of business can you sell something that isn't what it says it is and then turn around and offer a token instead of a refund?

We are a firm of accountants, most enquiries we receive are either far away from our location, or irrelevant and at times hard to get hold of the leads.

They do not vet the enquiries that are posted on their website, so most leads are unreliable and there is one in ten chances to get a lead that will crystalise as a client.

Some of the enquiries posted are poorly drafted with no effort by the potential lead!

They could improve by charging a nominal sum to the people who are putting up an enquiry as this would deter people who are not serious with their enquiry and this will also ensure that the professional purchasing the lead is confident that the lead is viable and worth its time.

They do not refund money to purchase leads that are not contactable or reachable! This is awful for businesses who are small and relying on the leads.

I would say keep miles away from this company, unless you are a punter who is willing to loose money and make them rich.

If the improvise and vet their leads and have some systems in place to ensure that the leads are genuine and viable, then definetly the business model is great.

Their staff is rude, arrogant and un-helpfull when queried on leads that were purchased but not reachable or contactable. They refused the repayment or to consider request/suggestions!

Please avoid membership of this company at any cost as there are other better ways to get clients.
