As a solicitor, email is an integral part of my business but for some time I had been struggling with an increasingly unmanageable web-mail based email inbox. I was spending far too much time searching for emails and wading through SPAM mails as the SPAM filters on my old system were very ineffective.

I am keen on the use of web-based and cloud applications to allow flexible working from anywhere. Dave Webster therefore mentioned to me that a switch to Google Apps for Work could provide me with the solution to my email problem.

Initially, I was reluctant to consider a switch to any new system as I feared the loss of data in the transfer process. I am also extremely busy and had concerns that switching would be very time consuming and potentially complicated. However, my frustration with my existing email system reached the stage where I had to do something and I therefore asked Webster Consulting to set up a free 30 day Google for Work trial.

Within 24 hours of using the Google for Work Gmail system - which was set up using my existing email addresses and domain name - I realised that a solution had been found. I didn't need the full 30 days to make a decision as to whether Google for Work was for me and I was keen to make the full switch as soon as possible.

Before completing the transfer Dave Webster took me through the process step-by-step and gave me excellent advice and help to ensure that extra back-up copies of historic emails were saved prior to the switch. The switch to Google for Work was completed easily, quickly, and without any loss of data, and Dave gave me lots of advice on using the myriad of Google for Work applications and functions.

I am extremely pleased with the new system that we now have in place. My only regret is that I didn't make the switch years ago!

Webster Consulting provided excellent ongoing support and extra training resources to help us make the most of our new Google Apps and in just a couple of weeks I have noticed increased productivity in using the Google Apps tools and functions.

Integration of an online scheduler and calendar cut my emails to one third of what they were. And spam emails have been cut to near zero! I also have a working client retention and management system that helps me keep up with projects and generate annual repeat business.

Using Google Drive means I can share reports and documents with my clients without having to save multiple versions of documents. I no longer need to use Microsoft Office as I can still send attachments should I need to in Word or PDF format directly from Google Drive.
