Excellent, insightful, focused, and dedicated workshop & webinar delivery on autism by Yasmin.

I reached out to Yasmin for a second time following her delivering training onsite some years ago for us on autism (PDA Profile) which went very well.

As an autism charity we have noticed a rise in PDA profile of autism, which can be very challenging to support and many parents and families would benefit from PDA workshop and support. We commissioned Yasmin in December last year to contribute to our parents understanding with an online workshop for the benefit of our parents across London.

As the need was so high and ongoing in terms of requests from those that would be attending, I mirrored those needs in what I asked of Yasmin, bearing in mind our tight budget and time constraints for delivery. This was not an easy request overall at all! Yasmin worked very hard to try and respond to as much as she possibly could to deliver a highly insightful, UpToDate and very informative training in the form of a webinar & workshop taking time to include important details like trigger warnings for attendees on difficult areas, wellbeing breaks and plenty of time for attendee discussion of what felt important to discuss and workshop on the spot. Yasmin was highly communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout all planning and adapted to our needs as an organisation. Her approach with parents is highly engaging and she has ability to present difficult topics applying innovative insights and humour.

Yasmin successfully navigated a multitude of questions and discussion areas some of which were very difficult as well as responding to a very busy chat feature on zoom with additional questions and took extra time unpaid to ensure she responded to everyone as best as she could. As a result, we had an excellent feedback from parents who reported increase in their knowledge base and ability to support their children which would lead to increased quality of life of all family members. The only wish from parents was that there could have been even more content to cover even more but this would of course have required an additional session.

Yasmin run two webinars about neurodiversity for Addiction Professionals and she did and they were very well received. She brilliantely illustrated the challenges faced by people with neurodiversity and how services can adopt more inclusive practices and designs. She is very competent and passionate about the subject.
