When Jewel Safety Ltd became incorporated, the subject of Law of Contract was not a topic in which Jewel Safety had a subject matter expert.

Jewel Safety had previously heard of Zener Engineering Services and their expertise in regulatory compliance and general contract reviews for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device manufacturers. Jewel Safety asked ZES to review their standard contract, looking at the format, suitability and implications of all terms and conditions.

ZES suggested improvements to the contracts which were implemented comprehensively. For example, IR35 considerations were not part of Jewels contracts or knowledge base. Clients have subsequently reviewed our new Jewel contracts, and have no issues or concerns with their content, legality or implications of our terms and conditions.

Independent Documentation Review
I enlisted the services of Zener following documentation failing to meet the required standard for a body to which it had been submitted. Even though the document had been reviewed by several other industry ‘experts’, Zener were the company who excelled.
The documentation subject matters included:
• Regulatory Compliance
• Safety Considerations and Compliance
• Improvements
• Operation Considerations and Compliance
Upon review, Zener suggested a number of alterations and improvements to which I agreed. Zener reworked and rewrote a significant proportion of the rejected documentation, allowing Zener to implement numerous improvements in the hope of achieving the required standard.
The review and improvement work carried out by Zener, ensured the suitability of the documentation; in that, the style, general approach, technical aspects and accuracy, was current, comprehensive and complete. This included the correct quoting of appropriate policies and standard operating procedures.
Zener discovered and highlighted gaps and weaknesses in the documentation which could have lead to a miss-understanding of the technical content. Zener significantly changed the general approach to make the documentation more user friendly and targeted specifically for reading by the approving body.

The outcome of the documentation review undertaken by Zener was utilised to fine-tune other documentation subsequently produced. The documentation was approved upon resubmission by the approving body.

I’m happy to recommend ZES for their work ethic, personable approach, diplomacy and understanding in a very stressful situation. But most of all….. their ability to rise to the challenge! Thankyou.
